HanStone

Porcelain Care Instructions

Maintenance & Care

HanStone Porcelain delivers exceptional performance, ensuring safety, hygiene, and low-maintenance living. Its durable, non-porous surface resists stains, moisture, and bacteria—making it easy to clean and maintain.

Daily Cleaning

We recommend cleaning your HanStone Porcelain surfaces daily with water and a mild detergent such as dish soap or a light Degreaser -such as Simple Green® or Method all-purpose naturally derived surface cleaner. Although HanStone Porcelain is heat-resistant, always use trivets or heat pads for optimal long-term performance.

Cleaning Method

To prevent the buildup of residue, it is recommended to rinse with water and gently buff dry with a microfiber cloth after using any cleaning method to remove all remaining cleaning product. Always act promptly to remove stains before they dry and become more difficult to clean. For best results, follow the recommended cleaning methods based on the type of porcelain finish and stain.

Cleaners & Products

For effective stain removal, use the appropriate cleaner based on the type of stain.

It’s always a good idea to wipe up spills as soon as they occur.

  • Dish soap and water

  • Light Degreaser -such as Simple Green® or Method all-purpose cleaner

Cleaning Tips

Natural Oils

Oils on any counter can leave the finish looking messy, smudged and reflect light unpleasantly.

·      Option 1: Mild dish soap and water

·      Option 2: Mild, neutral degreaser suitable for porcelain

Rinse with clean water after all cleaning applications.

Metal Marks & Scale

Use a descaling porcelain cleaner suitable for your porcelain finish and non-abrasive white cloth. Rinse with clean water after all cleaning applications.

Silicone, Wax, & Resin

Use a mild solvent cleaner such as Methyl Hydrate or Rubbing Alcohol.

Food & Organic Stains

Use a mild neutral detergent suitable for porcelain. For stubborn stains, try Fantastik Original All-Purpose Cleaner.

Rust Stains

·      Step 1: Use a rust stain remover suitable for porcelain in conjunction with a non-abrasive white pad

·      Step 2: Gently rub the stain in a circular motion

·      Step 3: Once stain is removed, clean surface with water alone or a mild soap and water solution

Caution: Do NOT use abrasive pads/sponges or rust removers that contain hydrofluoric acid and/or its derivatives or products with a particularly high or low pH as surface damage may occur.
